Hi Amanda, I’m thinking of trying this with a batch of Patton’s Classic Wool. I have many colors. My thought is to tye on a new color every 4th row, creating a fringe. I’m not familiar with the yarn you use, how do do think the gauge will work out? I tend to knit on the loose side.

Karen, it would be best to knit up a swatch to see what your gauge would be. It is very difficult for me to give you advice about any yarn, because every knitter has a different tension. Cheers!
